The Crochet Chain is a wonderful shop, I heard one customer describe the shop as “walking into a rainbow”, which is quite apt for this colouful eclective mix of everything you would need for your knitting or crochet project from a extensive and varied stock of wool to needles and crochet hooks (including some amazing sets imported from Japan!) to accessories including buttons, knitting bags, scissors and a wide selection of patterns and books.
You are assured of a warm welcome and no pressure to buy, in fact Diana and Tina are happy for people to come sit on their sofa with a cup of coffee and just browse or to come in for some advice.
It is your local one stop shop for all your crochet and knitting needs. Highly recommended, well worth a visit or check out their website and order online for next day delivery.

I loved this shop. We felt so welcome and were overwhelmed by the all marvellous yarn, patterns and accessories. The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. There was even a comfy sofa to sit on while we browsed patterns and tea and coffee was available. I could have stayed all day!
